Mission Statement for "The VR Project"

We would like to take this opportunity to share with you the mission statement for the ministry that has been laid on our hearts, and for which we have been called to Romania indefinitely. This ministry is an idea that came out of our years attending Caransebes Bible Institute, and ministering to many different people in many different areas in the country of Romania. As always feel free to email us with questions or comments. The Mission Statement for "The VR Project: Project Village Reach -- Romania" is as follows: "The goal of the VR Project is to operate in a village where there has not been a church before, or where there is a new church, and to reach every man, woman, and child with the Gospel message by building friendships with the people, with the goal of winning them to Christ and thereby building the Body of Christ, the Church."

By Request...

We have received some questions regarding how someone may support us in our ministry "The VR Project: Project Village Reach -- Romania" if they feel they have been led to do so, financially or otherwise.
As always -- see previous entry -- prayer is a huge support for us, more so than any other type of support. When you pray for us, you are having a private audience with the creator and sustainer of all things on our behalf, and that is an incredible privilege, something we need. Please, pray for us.
If you are interested in supporting us financially, whether that would be ongoing monthly support or a one time gift, A check would be made out to: Andrew & Geta Roby; That would be sent to: 294 Jacobson Way, Monmouth, OR. 97361. Your questions are always welcome; our email address is: morningstar1826@gmail.com. Thank you for your encouragements! In Christ, Andrew, Geta, Joseph, Ammishaddai, Elijah, and Jeremiah.

"The Interview"

"Prayer moves the hand that moves the world." -- E.M. Bounds
On June 5th 2006 at 9AM, I (Andrew) was interviewed for an hour on the Morning Post show on AM 1220 KCCS in Salem Oregon. The host of the show, Bill Post, asked questions about our family going to Romania, and about our ministry there, entitled "The VR Project: Project Village Reach -- Romania". We felt that the interview went pretty well, especially after the first segment (during which I was fairly nervous). We believe it was a great opportunity provided by God to let people know what we are doing -- actually what God is doing in us and through us. Mr. Post was also gracious enough to allow people to have the opportunity to know how they could help -- first of all prayer (see quote at top of this blog entry!) and then of course with support/donations if they felt so led. Thanks to each of you who encouraged us before and after the show -- it was very much appreciated!
